Several Comanche band members selected to SWOBDA

Comanche band members were honored by being selected recently to the Southwestern Oklahoma Band Directors Association (SWOBDA) band.

Also, Morgan Middick was selected to Small School All-State and Middick, Kaiser Moser and Sydney Porter advanced through the first round of the Large School All-State process.

Below are the students who received SWOBDA honors:

n Bentley Hatfield - first chair, 7th grade percussion

n Keyleigh Hurst - 13th chair, 8th grade, clarinet

n Paige Pollard - 9th chair, 7th grade, clarinet

n Klayton Smith - 8th chair, trombone, 9th grade band

n Sydney Porter - 6th chair, trombone, high school concert band

n Rylan Shelby, 4th chair, baritone, 8th grade band

n Kaiser Moser, 4th chair, baritone, high school concert band

n J.D. Hensley, 2nd chair, tuba, 9th grade band

n Olivia Hammond, first chair, bass clarinet, 7th grade band

n Alyssa Martin, 8th chair, clarinet, 7th grade band
