Lady Indians host festival

After dropping their opener in the Comanche Festival last week, the Lady Indians closed out with three straight wins surpassing the 20-win mark for the second straight season.

After a pitcher’s duel led to a 0-0 tie after seven innings, the Lady Bulldogs rode a three-run home run in the top of the eighth inning to get the win.

Comanche tried to respond in the bottom half of the inning, but fell just short.

The Lady Indians had just two hits in the game with both Gracee Miller and Josey Harris picking up a hit each. Miller had an RBI in the contest.

Harris took the loss on the mound, giving up five hits and two earned runs while striking out eight and walking one.

After giving up one run in the first, Comanche scored two runs in the second and four runs in the third to get the win.

Jentry Whaley went 2-for-2 with a home run and drove in three runs in the win. Gracee Miller went 1-for-2 with a double and 3 RBI. Raylee Chaney picked up the Lady Indians’ other hit.

Kamrey Rendon was the winning pitcher, giving up five hits with one earned run while striking out six.

Marlow 1

Kamrey Rendon limited the Lady Outlaws to four hits as the Lady Indians picked up a win over their county rival.

Mykayla Slovak and Gracee Miller each went 2-for-3 to lead Comanche at the plate. Miller had a triple and 3 RBI in the game.

The Lady Indians never trailed, scoring two runs in the first three innings before giving up Marlow’s lone run in the fourth inning. Comanche put the game away with four runs in the bottom of the fifth.

Josey Harris had a double with two RBI and Ayli Minor went 1-for-2 with an RBI.

Kamrey Rendon gave up four hits and an earned run. She struck out one and walked one.

Josey Harris tossed a one-hit shutout as the Lady Indians closed out the Comanche Festival with a win.

Bre Gill and Brighton O’Connor both went 3-for-3 to lead Comanche at the plate. Gill had an RBI and O’Connor had a double and an RBI.

Comanche scored three runs in the first and then added five more in the third before scoring their final run in the fourth.

Jentry Whaley and Raylee Chaney had doubles in the game. And Gracee Miller and Aspen Loafman each picked up an RBI.
