Article may not be accurate

This week's Comanche Times features an article about an election to select a city council member after a majority vote could not be reached on either of the two people nominated at last week's meeting. However, after going to press yesterday, we received a notice of a special meeting called for Thursday to discuss the possibility of appointing a member, which would nullify the need for an election if one is appointed. We will update the article online once a decision has been made to either appoint someone or have an election. We apologize for any confusion this may cause.
