Thursday

Comanche 13,

The Indians made quick work of the Wolverines, scoring 13 runs in the first three innings to win by run rule.

Comanche scored six runs in the first, five in the second and put the game away with two more runs in the third.

The Indians only had five hits in the game, but took advantage of eight walks issued by Lawton pitchers and three errors.

Friday

Bridge Creek 8

Comanche 4

A big fifth inning by the Bobcats proved to be the difference in the game. The Indians took a 3-2 lead in the first inning and it held until the fifth inning when Bridge Creek exploded for six runs to take the lead for good. The Indians managed to get one more run in the bottom of the sixth, but it would not be enough.

The Bobcats outhit the Indians 8-7 in the game. Comanche hurt itself with four errors in the contest.

Colby Shannon led the way for Comanche on offense by going 2-for-2. Gunner King, Ian Essex, Landen Steele, Owen Bigford and Dillon Ellis all had one hit. Bigford and Essex had doubles with Essex picking up two RBI. Steele also had an RBI.

Bryson Evans was the losing pitcher, he gave up five hits in four innings and surrendered four earned runs. Steele then closed out the game.

Marlow 7

Comanche 2

Walks and errors proved to be too much to overcome for the Indians against their county rival.

Comanche briefly grabbed a 2-1 lead in the second inning, but three runs by the Outlaws in the top of the third swung the momentum back to Marlow and they would not surrender it.

The Outlaws would add two more runs in the fourth and then add an insurance run in the seventh to get the win.

Comanche had six hits in the game, including a 2-for-3 performance by Owen Bigford. Brady Dobbins, Colby Shannon, Bryson Evans and Landen Steele all had one hit.

Gabe Diaz started the game for the Indians and took the loss. He surrendered four hits and three earned runs, while striking out three and walking two.

Comanche added a run in the fifth and then put the game away with four runs in the sixth.

Owen Bigford had a solid outing for Comanche on the mound as he tossed a one-hitter through six innings. He struck out five and only walked one.
