Kingston takes two from Comanche

Comanche basketball suffered a pair of losses at home to Kingston on Feb. 8 with Lady Indians falling by a 36-30 score and the Indians falling by a 41-24 score.
Lady Redskins 36
Lady Indians 30
Comanche was limited to just 11 first-half points and a second-half surge would not be enough in the end.
Kingston enjoyed a 21-11 halftime lead before Comanche, lead by Gracee Miller's seven points in the third, doubled its score in the quarter. Three three-pointers by Kingston, though, kept the Lady Redskins head 30-22 heading into the final quarter.
It was a good day from long range for Kingston, which nailed seven long-range shots, accounting for more than half of their points.
Miller finished with a game-high 18 points. Kenley Lemons and Bri Keeling had four points each. Kylie Roden and Caity Blair had two points each.
Redskins 41
Indians 24
A rough second half from the field kept the Indians from mounting a comeback against Kingston.
Comanche trailed 22-15 at the half, but the Indians would make just three field goals in the second half as the Redskins pulled away for the win.
Mason Kulbeth scored 10 points to lead the Indians, while Jeremy Crisp had five, Dillon Ellis had four, Myles Ellis had two, Corbin Bowen had two and Cason Morris had one point.
