131 Comanche High School students quarantined

Comanche superintendent Julie Bills said Tuesday night at the school board meeting that 131 students have been quarantined due to COVID-19. She did not disclose how many students had tested positive.

All students quarantined are high school students.

The softball season has been put on hold due to the number of players being quarantined. The will have until Sept. 22 to make up any district games that are being postponed. She also said several football players are out, but as of right now, the plans are to continue to play. The Indians are scheduled to host Healdton this Friday.

Bills said the length of quarantine will vary and will depend on the circumstances of the individual student.
