Leslie C. 'L.C.' Henderson

April 30, 2026

Leslie C. Henderson, known to most as “L.C.”, passed away peacefully on April 19, 2026 at the age of 92. LC lived in Comanche, OK, and was a man known for his steady presence, strong work ethic, and kind nature. Throughout his life, he built a reputation as someone you could count on- especially if something needed fixing. To his family, he was simply the man who could fix anything.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Red and Ethel Henderson; his beloved wife, Willia Mae Henderson; two brothers, Wayne Henderson and David Henderson; and his sister, Shirley Combrick.
He is survived by his loving wife, Lynda; his son, Les Henderson, and wife Denise; his daughter, Gayle Reeves, and husband Gary; and his stepson, Randy Roebuck, and his wife Brenda. He is also survived by his sister, Vicki Reeder, and husband Ross.
LC was a dedicated businessman, owning and operating Henderson Welding & Son alongside his father for many years. He later partnered with LaWayne Jones to run Henderson Supply Co., where he continued working until his retirement.
He found great joy in the simple things in life. LC was an avid fisherman and loved traveling in his RV, making memories on the road and enjoying the outdoors.
He leaves behind a loving legacy through his grandchildren: Jason McCord and wife Malacha, Micah Bazninet, Nicole Standsill and husband Ty, and Ian Henderson and wife Madison. He was also blessed with great-grandchildren: Sydney McCord, Caden Powers, Mya McCord, Cole Bazinet, Adam Stansill, Jude Henderson, Rowan Henderson, and Sedona Henderson; and great-great-granddaughter, Laila McCord.
LC’s life was one of quiet strength, hard work, and devotion to family. He will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him, but his memory will live on in the lives and touched and the family he cherished.
Visitation was held Thursday, April 23, from 5:00-7:00 p.m. at the Comanche Funeral Home.
