Veterans invited to breakfast at CHS

November 06, 2025

The Comanche Student Council will be hosting a Veterans Day breakfast on Nov. 11 from 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. at the high school’s commons area.
Pancakes and coffee will be served. The breakfast will be free.
“It’s a way for us to thank them for their service,” said Jack Francis, student council sponsor.
All military veterans, spouses and widows are invited to attend.
The breakfast will not be the only Veterans Day celebration being held on campus. At 9 a.m., veterans are invited to Comanche Elementary School for donuts and coffee. At 9:30 a.m., the fifth grade will present their Veterans Day program. Those planning to attend are asked to call 580-439-2911 to let the school know.
Empire will also be hosting a Veterans Day breakfast at 8:15 a.m. on Nov. 11 in the cafeteria. For those wishing to attend with a student, email tskiles@empireschools.org with name, student, and branch of military.
Hope Academy of Stephens County will be having a Veterans Day service at 9 a.m.
