Comanche FFA has banner week at region

Several FFA members placed and advanced to the state competition after a successful showing at the Waurika Region Greenhand Contest.

In the Opening and Closing Ceremonies, the team of Kate Cross, Harli Young, Jaci Sides, Charlie Lewis, Savanna Kelnhofer and Hayliee Roy placed second and is headed to state.

The Greenhand Quiz Bowl team also qualified for state, with Ellie Schreiner taking first place individually. Harli Young finished in fifth place, Charlie Lewis placed sixth and Jaci Sides made it to the Top 10 Finals.

The competition also featured two successful 7th and 8th Grade Team Creed teams:

Second Place Team: Hallie Ramsey, Kaidience Cisneroz, Taylor Thompson, Olivia Zavala and Emma Wendt.

Fifth Place Team: Paxton Jones, Kaydence Pate, Kaylee Stengle, Charlie Myhand and Allie Desrosiers.

Additionally, Ayden Doyle, Brody Combs, Dominic Rodriguez, Chase Thompson and Kaden Adams also competed in the event.

In the FFA Creed speaking competition, Harli Young placed second and Jaci Sides finished in fifth. Other members who competed included Charlie Lewis, Savanna Kelnhofer, Jordan Smith, Dylan Combs and Hunter Roebuck.
