Eva Ethel Wyrick

Eva Ethel Wyrick, a former resident of Comanche, peacefully passed away on Friday evening, Oct. 17, 2025, in Davis.  She was 87 years old.  A funeral service will be held on Tuesday,  Oct. 21 at 11:a.m. at the pavilion at Fairlawn Cemetery, with Billy Staggs officiating, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home.
Eva was born Oct. 22, 1937 in Grandfield, to June and Mary Ethel (Wilburn) Teacle. She and Earl Wyrick were united in marriage in September, 1971, in Wichita Falls, Texas.  Eva loved telling a good joke, and took great pleasure in making people laugh.  However, her greatest joy came from being able to spend time with her family and friends.  She was a loving mom and grandmother.
Survivors include her daughter, Brenda Sue Webb and husband Bobby, Davis; a sister, Penny Russell, of Texas; two grandchildren: Michael Jennings and wife Tamara; and Logan Phillips and her husband, Pen; and five great-grandchildren: Brody Jennings, Jaggar Jennings, Griffin Phillips, Ryatt Phillips, and Dake Phillips; and many other relatives and dear friends.
 Eva was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Earl; and two sons: John Eddie Lawrence and Russell Carlton Lawrence.
Serving as pallbearers will be Bobby Webb, Clinton Bohannan, Ted Saxton, Pen Phillips, Michael Jennings, and Greg Barr.
