Lower turnout, but fun still had at Fall Fest
October 16, 2025

It was a warm, sunny day in Comanche on Saturday and visitors came to downtown Comanche for the annual Comanche Ag Booster Fall Fest.
There were several selections of food, crafts, jewelry, clothing and several other items and opportunities available at the event.
Lacey Jones of the ag boosters said this year’s event seemed to have a lower turnout than years past, but the boosters were grateful for those who did turn out.
“I think it went pretty well overall,” Jones said. “Attendance seemed a little lower this year despite all the advertising, which was disappointing, but the weather was nice - just a bit hot as the day went on.”
She was relieved that there were no major issues that had to be dealt with.
“Everything ran smoothly and I appreciate everyone’s hard work in making it happen. I do think the car show not taking place affected turnout some, so we’re going to look at a few new ideas to hopefully help revamp Fall Fest next year and keep the tradition going.”
The Noah Presgrove Memorial Car Show was originally scheduled to take place during Fall Fest, but it was moved to the spring.
A healthy Stephens County requires great community news.
