Robert A. "Bobby" Lewis Jr.

Robert A. “Bobby” Lewis Jr. passed away September 15, 2025 at the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center, after a short illness. He was 79 years old.
 Bobby was born October 28, 1946 to Robert A. and Rheba Louise (Ussery) Lewis, in Allen, OK.  He attended school in Allen, Liberty, and Comanche, Oklahoma, where he graduated with the class of 1964, where he lettered in football and track.  He was also a member of the Comanche Boys Boxing Club, where he won numerous Golden Glove tournaments.  He enlisted in the United States Air Force after graduation.  He was honorably discharged in 1968.  Bobby then worked in the Aircraft Industry for a short time before going to work in the oilfield.  He worked offshore for many years.  Bobby finished his career managing hotels and apartment complexes.
 Survivors include his wife Pat (Porter) Lewis, of the home; and one son, Todd Lewis, Houma, LA; a daughter, Brandi Seale, Texas; nine grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.  Also, three sisters: Peggy Lewis, Duncan, OK, Janie Robbins, Duncan, OK, and Paula Jellison, Mustang, OK;  one brother, Kenneth Lewis, Comanche, OK;  Pat’s daughter, Sheila Beam and husband  Bob, Yukon, OK; and Churck Watson and wife Karla.
 Bobby was preceded in death by his parents, Robert and Rheba Lewis; a son, Timothy Wayne Lewis, and two sisters: Bessi “Jeri” Haskins and Glynda Snead.
A memorial service will be held on Friday, October 17, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at the Fort Sill National Cemetery, in Elgin, OK.
