Cross country runs at Central High

The Comanche cross country teams ran in a meet at Central High last Tuesday. The Comanche Middle School girls finished second as a team, the high school boys placed fourth, the middle school boys placed sixth and the middle school girls placed eighth.
In middle school girls, Comanche had three top 20 finishers with Hallie Ramsey taking fourth overall and Kaidence Cisneroz placing sixth. Rylee Ellis was 20th. Kaylee Stengle and Emma Wendt also scored for Comanche, placing 41st and 50th, respectively. Cali Jessen finished 87th and Aspen Fox placed 89th out of 207 runners.
In high school boys Aidan Frye and Makisig Rogers placed back-to-back in seventh and eighth place to lead the team. Hayden Harget was 62nd, followed by Christian Parris in 64th, Kasyn Doss in 71st, Kagen White in 75th and Payton Crowder in 103rd.
In junior high boys, Brody Combs led Comanche with a 17th-place finish. James Taylor was second on the team in 23rd. Quentin Selby was 30th and Brantley Jennings was 60th. Kaden Adams was 64th, Flynn Wright was 136th and Brayden Brown was 138th.
In high school girls, Ellie Schreiner was 31st to lead the Lady Indians. She was followed by Hayliee Roy in 40th, Kendra Billy in 47th, Kadence Billy in 65th, Zoe Payes in 81st and Jordan Stenbach-Smith in 94th.
