Norma Nadine Williams

Norma Nadine Williams, age 92, a longtime resident of Comanche, peacefully passed from this life into her heavenly home on Friday morning, Sept. 12, 2025.  A memorial service will be held on Thursday, Sept. 18 at 10 a.m. at the Comanche Funeral Home Chapel, with  Bro. Justin Harkins officiating, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home.
Nadine was born on December 30, 1932, in Dexter, N.M.,  the youngest of nine children born to William T. and Emily Mae (Bizzell) Driggers.  The family moved to Comanche when Nadine was a child, and remained here ever since. She and Albert Ray Williams were united in marriage on October 26, 1948 in Sherman, Texas. She owned her own beauty salon for many years.  Nadine loved to go the the Comanche Nutrition Center, play bingo and Forty-Two, and loved card games.  In her younger years, she enjoyed shuffleboard, and bowling. Nadine especially loved spending time with her family. Her grandchildren and great-grandson meant the world to her, and also her daughter-in-law and sons.
Survivors include two sons: Larry Williams and wife Robin, Georgetown, Texas; and Terry Williams, Comanche;  two grandchildren: Justin Williams and Kristi Dobrinski and husband Dave; one great-grandchild, Bowen Dobrinski;  four sisters-in-law: Mae McCall, Ruth Snelling, Trudy Williams, and Helen Absher;  numerous nieces and nephews; and many other relatives and friends.
Nadine was preceded in death by her husband, Albert Ray Williams, her parents, William and Emily Driggers, and her brothers and sisters.
