Donna Mae Terrill

Donna Mae McAlister Terrill, a longtime resident of Comanche died Friday, June 27, 2025, in Duncan. She was 86.

Born in Hutchinson, Kan., on Dec. 16, 1938, to Melbourne and Nelly Eugita (Casterline) McAlister, Terrill married Lonnie A. Terrill on Aug. 15, 1957, in Duncan, following her high school graduation. The couple had two children, Lori and Trent.

Terrill was known for her love of sewing, crocheting, and her extensive button collection. Above all, she treasured time spent with her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lonnie; her son, Trent; and her great-granddaughter, Gracelynn.

Survivors include her daughter, Lori Terrill of Comanche; grandchildren Belissa and Russ Brady of Comanche, Kerri Young of Athens, Tenn., and Lauradda and Daniel Stuper of Comanche. She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren, Alyssa, Jossie, Ashliee, Abby, Sarah, Skyler, Evan, and River; and two great-great-grandchildren, Elliott and one expected soon.
