Following a highly successful debut in 2024, the Comanche Chamber of Commerce Independence Day Fest makes its return on June 28 at Comanche Lake.
This year’s second annual event features much of the same as last year with food, fireworks and vendors, but live music has also been added from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m.
Acts include John Slaughter at 2 p.m., Missy Frye and Gaylon Blankenship at 2:30 p.m., Red Letter Avenue at 4 p.m., Cody Newby at 5 p.m., Allen Biffle at 6 p.m. and Reece Colin at 7 p.m.
The festival will be held from 2 p.m. to 8 p.m. with the fireworks show beginning at dusk. The chamber has hired a professional fireworks company to do this year’s show.
