Honor Guard to host Memorial Day celebrations

The Stephens County Honor Guard will host Memorial Day celebrations on May 26 in three locations throughout Stephens County.

At 10 a.m., a service will be held at Fairlawn Cemetery in Comanche in conjuncial with American Legion Post 258.

At noon, a service will be held at the Duncan Memorial Monument at Highway 81 and Pine in conjunction with AmVets Post 11 and American Legion Post 55.

At 2 p.m., a service will be held at Marlow Cemetery in conjunction with American Legion Post 9 and VFW 1192.

These services are to memoralize the American servicemen and women who have given of themselves to maintain the freedoms and lifestyles that we have today.
