Cyril 5
Comanche 1
The Lady Indians scored in the top of the first on an RBI double by senior Jentry Whaley, but it would be all the runs Comanche could muster as Cyril answered with three runs in the bottom half of the inning and then added two insurance runs in the fifth to get the win.
Comanche was limited to five hits with all five coming from Whaley, who went 2-for-2 and Cianna O’Connor, who went 3-for-3.
Whaley’s RBI double drove in Raelee Ellis, who had walked earlier in the inning.
Cloey Kinkade was the losing pitcher as she went the distance on the mound, giving up six hits, and four earned runs in six innings of work.

Riverside 0
A big third inning gave the Lady Indians the cushion they needed as they blanked Riverside for their first win of the season.
Comanche had scored one run each in the first and second innings before Cassidy Smith got the scoring started in the bottom of the third with a two-run single, followed by an RBI single by Katelynn Cole. The final run scored on an error.
The other Comanche players picking up hits were Cianna O’Connor, Caity Ramsey and Cloey Kinkade. Ramsey had an RBI and Kinkade had a double with a run scored.
Kinkade was the winning pitcher, tossing a two-hit shutout over five innings with four strikeouts.

Alex 1
Comanche catcher Jaylee Roebuck blasted a three-run home run in the third inning to lead the Lady Indians to the win.
After a scoreless first inning, Alex scored a run in the top of the second to take an early 1-0 lead.
In the third, Raelee Ellis walked and advanced to second on a single by Cianna O’Connor. That set the table for Roebuck who deposited the Alex pitcher’s 1-2 offering over the center field fence.
Comanche had five different players get a hit in the game. Besides Roebuck and O’Connor, Caity Ramsey, McKenzie Graham and Katelynn Cole had hits. Ramsey’s hit was a double.
Jentry Whaley was the winning pitcher as she pitched four innings, gave up one hit, one run and struck out six.
