Ryan's Racen Williams and Noah Torrez combined for 47 points in leading the Cowboys to a 73-48 win over Waurika in a consolation semifinal matchup on Friday night.

Torrez scored 16 of his 28 points in the first quarter as Ryan bolted out to a 26-10 lead at the end of the first quarter. Ryan opened the game on a 16-0 run. The game was more even in the second quarter, but Waurika was not able to make any headway in the Cowboys' lead as they trailed 44-27 at the break,

Ryan then put the game out of reach in the third quarter, outscoring Waurika, 15-8, in the quarter for a 59-38 lead going into the fourth. Williams knocked down three three-pointers in the fourth quarter for the Cowboys.

Ryan advances to play Empire for the consolation championship today (Saturday) at 1:30 p.m. Empire advanced to the final after receiving a forfeit from Bray-Doyle.
