Karen Leigh Cloud

Karen Leigh Cloud October 17, 1951- January 12,2024

Karen born on Oct. 17, 1951 to Eleanor and Elton McClennon. She met the love of her life Mike Loyd Cloud in 1968 and were joined in marriage March 22, 1969. Mike and Karen raised 2 children Brent Cloud and Marci Wylie in their home in Comanche.

Karen graduated from Comanche High School Continuing her education at Cameron University obtaining her RN degree. She worked at Duncan Regional Hospital and continued to care for others after. She loved to teach others about nursing and be a guide with her knowledge. She truly loved and enjoyed taking care of others. She never met a stranger.

Karen was a loved mother by Brent, Gail, and Marci. She loved being “Nana” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren; Aaron, Brittney, Rebekah “Boo”, Mika, Makennah, Marcus, Raegan, Colton, Avery, Emery, Remeigh, Jinks, Acetyn, Wrynleigh and a sister to Craig, Teresa, aunt to Barbi, and Jessica.

Karen was a wife, mother, grandmother, mentor, teacher, friend, and caretaker. She was a kind soul. She had a contagious laugh and a smile that would light up a room. She was an amazing example of the Lord's servant. She had a gentle and big heart. She was our glue. A true matriarch to our family.

Funeral services will be held Friday, Jan. 26, at Freedom Biker Church, 803 W Walnut Ave, Duncan at 1p.m.
