Portion of Duncan Bypass to be down to one lane starting Monday

North and southbound SH-7/Duncan Bypass will intermittently be narrowed to one lane from just east of US-81 to Elk Ave. beginning 8 a.m. Monday, Aug. 14 through September for resurfacing. Flaggers will be in place directing traffic at one-mile increments, although drivers are encouraged to locate an alternate route during this time.

The $4 million asphalt resurfacing project was awarded to Overland Corp. and includes resurfacing the lanes as well as the intersections at US-81, Bois D'Arc Rd., Beech Ave. and Elk Ave.
