Troy Clifton Robertson

Troy Clifton Robertson was born March 20, 1943 in Bakersfield, Calif. to Charles and Edith (Huber) Robertson. He passed away at the age of 80 on Sunday, June 4, 2023, with his wife at his side at his home in Duncan.

The family will greet visitors on Wednesday, June 7, between 5 to 7 P.M. at Whitt Funeral Home. Funeral services are planned for Thursday, June 8, at 2 p.m at Ray of Hope Church with Rev. Mike McCord and Rev. David Morrow officiating. Pallbearers are Chris Patterson, Tony DeCarlo, Ryan Taylor, Aaron Red Elk, Robert Rasberry, and Carl Matthinson. Interment will follow in the Fairlawn Cemetery near Comanche. Arrangements have been entrusted to Whitt Funeral Home.

Troy graduated from Comanche High School. He married Rebecca “Becky” McDonald on July 15, 1966, in Comanche. He proudly served his country in the US Army and he was employed for over 30 years at DCP Midstream. He enjoyed spending time with his family, shooting his guns, riding motorcycles, flying airplanes, doing outdoor work, blacksmithing, metal detecting, singing in the choir, and riding the red tractor. He loved Jesus, his family, and his grandkids.

Preceded in death by his parents, son, Cody Wayne Robertson, and brother, Bobby Robertson. Troy is survived by his wife, Becky; daughter, LaDonna and husband Raleigh Stone of Duncan; grandchildren: Aaron Red Elk and wife Kaitlin of Waxahachie, Texas, Lindsey Lippert and husband Joseph of Lawrence, Kan., Taylor Stone, Morgan Stone, and Raleigh White, all of Oklahoma City; and great grandchild, Rylee Red Elk. He is also survived by his sister, Patricia Nation of College Station, Texas.
