Track team picks up wins

he Comanche track team brought home several top finishes at a track meet in Lindsay last Thursday.

The Indians finished fourth as a team, led by first place finishes by Logan Bain, Noah Presgrove and Colby Shannon.

Bain, the defending Class 3A 110-meter hurdle champion, took first in the event at Lindsay with a time of 14.89.

Presgrove was first in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 42.61 seconds, second in the high jump at 6-0, and fourth at long jump with a distance of 18-6.

Shanon was the winner of the long jump with a distance of 20-5 feet.

Corbin Bowen finished fourth in the 110-meter hurdles with a time of 16.25 and fifth in the 300-meter hurdles at 44.6 seconds.

Brycen Lassley finished third at the 1600 meters with at time of 4:59 and fifth in the 3200 meters with a time of 11:03.

Jaxson Billilngsley set a personal record in the long jump and ran in the 1600 meters. T.C. Lindsay ran in the 800 and competed in the long jump and Kyler Johnson competed in the 100 meters.

The Lady Indians placed sixth as a team.

Comanche got a first place finish from Brilee Combs in the 800 meters with a time of 2:36.7 and first in the 1600 meters with a time of 6:00.

Alayna Nichols was fifth in the discus and second in the shot put with a throw of 33-8.

Karsyn Bowles was fifth in the 3200 meters with a time of 14:51 and sixth in the 1600 meters.

Cheyenne Hodges was fifth in the 300-meter hurdles with a time of 1:01.9.

Jaelyn Reed took sixth in the girls 200 meters and also ran the 100 meters.

Liliana Rocha competed in the 100 and 200 meters and Kayleigh Green competed in discus and shot put.
