William Chad Allen
William Chad Allen, age 48, a lifelong resident of Comanche, passed away early Saturday morning, June 20, 2020 in Oklahoma City from injuries sustained in an automobile accident.
A funeral service was held Tuesday, June 23 at Patterson Avenue Baptist Church, with Bro. Trent Young officiating. Interment followed at Fairlawn Cemetery, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home.
Chad was born Aug. 30, 1971 in Duncan to Jerry and Mary Jo (Burton) Allen. He was a 1990 graduate of Comanche High School. He worked alongside his father at Allen & Son Construction for the past 18 years. He was a loving father to his two children, Chaz and Caitlin. He loved gardening, fishing, woodwork, collecting arrowheads, and listening to music. He loved running “football routes” with Chaz, and cooking and baking with Caitlin. Chad also loved to take his dog, “Smokey” to the lake for outings.
He is survived by his two children: Chaz Allen of Edmond, and Caitlin Allen, Yukon; his parents, Jerry and Mary Jo Allen, Comanche; two brothers: Kevin and Robin Allen, Comanche, and Keith Allen, Comanche; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins, and countless number of friends. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Helen and Charlie Allen, and Maxine and Johnny Burton.
Serving as pallbearers will be Chaz Allen, Lathan Allen, Kyler Allen, Kanyn Allen, Donnie Boucher, Raleigh Stone, and Ronnie Mears. Honorary bearers will be Kevin Allen, Keith Allen, and Craig Pierce
