Ronnie Joe Wisdom

   Ronnie Joe Wisdom, age 58, of Comanche , passed away unexpectedly  early in the morning on December 24, 2017 at Mercy Hospital in Oklahoma City.  A funeral service will be held Wednesday, December 27th at 1:00 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church, located on Refinery Road in Meridian.  Interment will follow at Fairlawn Cemetery, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home.  Viewing will be Tuesday 12:00-5:00 p.m.  and Wednesday 9:00-11:00 a.m.
  Ronnie was born October 6, 1959, the youngest child of Royce and Joy Ann (Smith)Wisdom.  He attended school in Meridian, and he was a proud Meridian Rocket! He was a 1977 graduate of Comanche High School.  Ronnie retired from Halliburton in 2009.  He also worked at MIC and WILCO.  He attended Texas Auction Academy where he became an auctioneer.  Ronnie also worked as a realtor.  He had recently become a licensed gun dealer and was a self-defense instructor.  For fifteen years he was a fireworks dealer in Meridian.  Ronnie had a love for business and put his all in everything he did.
  He was the local Master of Ceremonies for the Comanche Chamber of Commerce Christmas Parade for the past seventeen years; a job which he greatly enjoyed. 
  Ronnie was a member of the Comanche Masonic Lodge, and was the Grand Master of the Lodge in 2017.
  He and Julie Youngblood were united in marriage on September 22, 1989 in Wichita Falls, TX.
  Survivors include his wife Julie, of the home; one son, Kory Don Wisdom and wife Kasey, Northwood, NH; three grandchildren: Alyssa Wisdom,  Kaylee Wisdom, and Jaxson Wisdom; his father, Royce Wisdom; one sister, Ruthie McMeans and husband Chris; father-in-law,  J.L. Youngblood;  brother-in-law Kelly Youngblood and wife Cathy; nieces and nephews: Tawna Meadows Christie McMeans  Law McMeans, Jordan Youngblood and Jakob Youngblood;  his uncle Dr. Cranfill Widsom and wife Shirley; aunt Linda Clemenshire and husband Don; and many cousins and close friends, including very special friends, Steve and Kellie Bolton, as well as numerous close and dear friends.
  Memorial contributions may be made to the Comanche Masonic Lodge or the Comanche Booster Club.
