H.D. Smith, a resident of Comanche, passed away on Tuesday morning, May 21, 2019 east of Walters as the result of an automobile accident. He was 27 years old. A memorial service, celebrating his life, was held Saturday, May 26 at 2 p.m. at the home of his dad and step-mom, Parker and Sharrell Smith.
H.D. was born Jan. 4, 1992 in Longview, Texas. He graduated from Comanche High School in 2010. He was a very gifted musician, playing several instruments. He also loved all animals, especially his dog, “Kano”. H.D. was an avid NASCAR fan and enjoyed going to the races.
Survivors include his mother, Alexis Farmer and husband Jack, Yukon, OK; his grandmother, Rebekah Ebbs and husband Jeff, Oklahoma City, OK; and Sharrell Smith, Comanche, OK; sisters: Sara Smith, Oklahoma City, OK; Brinkely Farmer, Wilmington, NC; and Hannah Farmer, Oklahoma City, OK; step-brothers: Brian Webb and Chris Webb, both of Comanche, OK; step –sisters: Kim Webb and Amy Webb, Oklahoma City, OK; his aunts: Stormy Smith, California; Michelle Ebbs and Nicole Ebbs, both of Oklahoma City, OK; and many nieces and nephews, cousins, and countless close friends.
H.D. was preceded in death by his father, Parker Smith; his grandparents, Howard and Earla Smith; a cousin, Beaudy Smith; and his uncle, Howard Dean Smith Jr.
