Debra Jean Campiche
Debra Jean Campiche, or Debbie, as she was known to all, a lifelong resident, peacefully passed away on Thursday afternoon, Sept. 19, 2019 at Cedar Crest Manor Nursing Home, in Lawton. She was 68 years old.
Afuneral service was held Sept. 24 at Patterson Avenue Baptist Church, with Bro. Trent Young officiating, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home.
Debbie was born Aug. 18, 1951 in Comanche, to Nathaniel John and Rutha Jean (Beatty) Cornelius. After graduating from Duncan High School in 1969 she later married Bill Campiche. Debbie was a faithful member of Patterson Avenue Baptist Church. She loved reading, watching soap operas, including her favorite show, The Young And The Restless. She was a member of the Comanche Red Hats Society. Debbie loved drinking an ice cold Diet Coke. She also had a very special place in her heart for all dogs and cats.
She is survived by her daughter, Amanda Kane and husband Jamie, Lawton; her mother-in-law, Mary Campiche, Comanche; a brother-in-law, Ronnie Campiche, Waurika; and a sister-in-law, Harriet Campiche, Houston, Texas; her “sister at heart”, Mary Kane, Lawton; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews. Debbie was preceded in death by her husband Bill; her parents; and two brothers: Joe and Larry Cornelius.
The family wishes to give special thanks to the loving and dedicated staff at Cedar Crest Nursing Home for all they did for Debbie. She loved them dearly.
