A much loved wife, mother, grandmother, and friend, Claudette Marie Ausmus, 79, of Comanche, Oklahoma passed away peacefully in her home March 7, 2019, after her brave fight. ››On the 10th day of February in 1940, our Lord and Savior created one of the most beautiful souls to ever walk this earth. Claudette married the love of her life, Melvin Ausmus on March 28, 1958. Together they had 6 children. Claudette was an inspiring, devoted and loving women. She was very proud of her family and loved having get-togethers, any chance to spend time with her family was special to her. She would spend hours preparing meals that consisted of so many dishes it was easy to lose count. Claudette was known for her feisty, yet good sense of humor. She loved to aggravate and was quite the prankster. She never turned down a bargain, and loved going garage selling, as well as Goodwill shopping. She enjoyed the outdoors and never turned down a family vacation to the mountains, lake, or wherever it may be.  ›Her nurturing and caring side was not limited to only humans, she loved animals just as well. From watching birds, to all the pets she’s welcomed in over the years, we are comforted in knowing she is playing with her dog Toby, once again.  ›For nothing loved is ever lost, and she was loved so much.

Survivors include her sons: Edward Ausmus, Jeff Ausmus, Wesley Ausmus of Duncan, and Kevin Ausmus, all of Comanche;   her daughters: Linda Sims and husband Randy, Duncan, OK;   Trish Piwenitzky and husband Craig, Stillwater, OK;   one brother, Richard Woods, Carefree, AZ;   one sister, Linda Thompson, Brownsville, CA; twelve grandchildren, and twenty great-grandchildren.
