Six county titles in a row for Lady Indians
It was all a rivalry game should be – a packed gym, a close game and every made shot getting an eruption from the teams’ fans.
It was a 14-0 run by Comanche in the third quarter that proved to be the difference as the Lady Indians defeated Marlow, 59-44, in the championship game of the 89th annual Stephens County Tournament.
The game had six lead changes in the first quarter before Comanche scored the last four points of the quarter to take the lead. The Lady Indians would never trail again.
The Lady Outlaws, though, would come back to tie the game twice more over the next two quarters.
