Seratte promoted at Lawton PD
Comanche native and 1986 high school graduate Rondell Seratte was named the assistant police chief of the Lawton Police Department at a ceremony at Lawton City Hall last Friday.
After serving on the Comanche Police Department for seven years, he transferred to Lawton in 2000 and is entering his 20th year on Lawton’s force.
“It took a lot of hard work to get here,” Seratte said. “I just can’t wait to get started and help the guys out on the street.”
The street is familiar to Seratte. He started as a patrol officer and worked his way up to field training officer.
In 2005, he was named a detective in the Special Operations Section. In 200, he was promoted to lieutenant.
