Indians run out of rallies at regional
The Comanche Indians nearly pulled off one miraculous comeback and then did pull one off the second time before running out of magic in the regional tournament semifinal at Marlow last weekend.
The tournament had several delays thanks to a rainy week. All of the opening day games on Thursday were postponed until Friday. Friday did not turn out to be much better. The Indians and the Outlaws got 3 ½ innings in before rain caused the tournament to be postponed yet again.
Marlow had built a 6-0 lead on Thursday and looked well in control before Comanche came to life on Saturday and put up five runs in the top of the fifth to throw a scare into the top-seeded Outlaws, who finished the regular season ranked No. 2 in the state.
