Indians fall to Frederick, 13-0

Comanche could not take advantage of a stellar performance from its defense in its season opener, falling on the road at Frederick, 13-0, last Friday.

The Indians’ defense had three interceptions and two fumble recoveries to keep the team in the game, but the offense could never get on track.

“I thought the kids played hard,” said Casy Rowell, Comanche head coach. “I thought we had a good attitude all the way to the end. The defense played great. Yeah, it would have been great to have been able to score, but the effort was there all night long.”
