Cortnie (Cain) Siess Honored As State’s “Best of Best” Outstanding Prosecutor

Comanche High School alumnus Cortnie (Cain) Siess was presented the very prestigious Mitch Sperry Memorial Award in formal ceremonies held the evening of July 19 in Stillwater at the annual District Attorney Association Banquet. The Mitch Sperry Memorial Award is presented each year to the state’s top prosecutor from nominations with the recipient selected by their peers from across the State of Oklahoma. Cortnie has served as Asst. District Attorney in the Stephens County District Attorney office of Jason Hicks since 2013, and was previously in Hick’s Chickasha office in Grady County since 2011. It was also announced recently that Cortnie will also be recognized this week by the OBN (Oklahoma Bureau of Narcotics) and other law enforcement agencies for her outstanding efforts in representing the citizens in her capacity as a state prosecutor.
