Comanche Police Get New Rides Get Proven Benefits Of Physical Activity!
Comanche police department has a few new vehicles to use during their duties. Two of the four new Dodge Chargers have 5.7 liter, V8 Hemi engines and two have 3.6 liter, V6 engines.
All are equipped with spotlights and interceptor packages as well as dash cameras that are synced with the officer’s body cam. The three silver vehicles are on a lease purchase program and the single white one was purchased through a grant. They also have upgraded their radio system to digital to ensure the best connection to each other and other area departments.
Many people, especially those with arthritis, don’t participate in regular physical activity, despite the health benefits it would offer. The Cooperative Extension Service offers two exercise programs to address health issues of rural Oklahomans.
