Myrna Myers

Myrna Arlene Myers, a beloved grandmother and mother devoted to her family during her 82 years of life, passed away peacefully in the late evening hours of Wednesday, March 26, 2024, surrounded by her family.

We will remember Myrna for the unconditional love for her grandchildren. She always said "Yes!" to any request or idea and made each of them feel special.

Myrna led a long, full life. She was born April 13, 1941 in Shawnee to Raymond and Dottie Johnson, joining an older sister Karen. The family moved to the Corum area when Myrna was a young girl and she attended high school in Temple

She graduated as an LPN in 1978 and worked at Duncan Regional Hospital and various local nursing homes. She loved to read, especially Stephen King. She loved watching the X-Files series, and westerns.

She was preceded in death by her parents, older sister, Karen, infant son Joey Darren Pike, sons Monty Chris Hart, Cory Jess Myers, Marty Kent Hart, and one daughter, Sherry LeAnn Barnes.

She is survived by her daughter, Kelly Griggs, Comanche, sons Zane and wife Jodi Myers, Comanche and Justin and wife Summer Myers, Tunkhannack , Penn. as well as 11 grandchildren, 17 great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers lovingly escorting Myrna to her final resting place are her grandsons: Austin Myers, Cayden Myers, Cory Myers, Carson Myers. Honorary bearers are Kevin Lowry and Clint Jones.

We will miss Myrna dearly, but we are so grateful for the time we had to spend with her. We will always feel her presence in our hearts.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, March 29, 2024 at 2 p.m. at the Hastings Cemetery, with Bro. Mike Bates officiating, under the direction of Comanche Funeral Home
